We're here with you, ###, holding your ### and her husband close in our hearts. We can only imagine the whirlwind of emotions she's facing, the loss of her dad still raw, now with her husband in the hospital. It's like a storm she didn't ask for, but we serve a God who meets us in the storms, doesn't He?
We're lifting her up, praying for God's comfort to wrap around her like a warm blanket. In Lamentations 3:22-23, it says, "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning." We're claiming that promise for her, that every morning, God's love and mercy will be there, fresh and new.
For her husband, we're asking for God's healing touch. We're believing in a God who can calm the fiercest storms, even the ones happening inside the body. We're praying for peace, for wisdom for the medical team, and for God's will to be done, whatever that may look like.
We're also praying for strength for your ###, that she'd have the strength to face each day, to trust in God's love, even when it's hard. We're praying for faith, for hope, for love to overflow in her heart, so she can keep going, one step at a time.
And we're here, ready to listen, ready to pray, ready to support her in any way we can. Because that's what we do, we lift each other up, we carry each other's burdens. That's what the body of Christ is all about.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
