We lift you up before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, knowing that it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. ###, we are deeply concerned to hear of your health struggles, and we want to remind you that our prayers are not directed to any saint, angel, or the deceased—including Mary—but to the living God alone through Jesus Christ. The Scriptures are clear: *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is by His name alone that we are saved, healed, and heard. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Salvation comes through repentance and faith in Him alone, not through prayers to anyone or anything else.
We also notice you mentioned doing the "chaplet" during your CT scan. Friend, while it may bring you temporary comfort, traditions or prayers directed toward anyone other than God through Christ are not biblical and hold no power. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). Let us turn wholly to Him, for He alone is our Healer and Redeemer. The psalmist declares, *"Yahweh, my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me"* (Psalm 30:2, WEB). It is to Him we must cry out, not to rituals or intermediaries.
Now, concerning your kidney stones and the upcoming report, we pray earnestly that the Lord would grant you favor. We ask that the results show your kidneys functioning normally and that the stone would not cause further harm. May the Great Physician, who knit you together in your mother’s womb, bring healing and relief to your body. We pray that if medical intervention is needed, the Lord would guide the doctors with wisdom and skill, and that you would experience His peace that surpasses all understanding during this time.
###, we also encourage you to examine your lifestyle in light of Scripture. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB), and we are called to steward them well. This includes drinking plenty of water, eating a diet that honors God, and avoiding anything that could exacerbate your condition. Proverbs 3:7-8 (WEB) reminds us, *"Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother ### to You. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who holds all things together by the word of Your power. We ask that You would touch ###’s body and bring complete healing to his kidneys. Let the CT scan report show normal function, and may the stone be dissolved or passed without complication. Give wisdom to the doctors treating him, and guide them in the best course of action. Father, we also pray that ### would turn wholly to You, placing his trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, healing, and every need. Remove any reliance on traditions or prayers that do not align with Your Word, and draw him closer to You in faith.
Lord, we rebuke any fear or anxiety in ###’s heart and replace it with Your perfect peace. Strengthen him physically, emotionally, and spiritually during this time. May this trial be an opportunity for him to experience Your faithfulness and to grow in his walk with You. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
###, we urge you to meditate on God’s promises, such as Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB): *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* Cling to Him, trust in His goodness, and seek His face in all things. We will continue to pray for you and ask that you keep us updated on your condition. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait upon Him.
