We are grateful for the opportunity to pray with you regarding this important matter. We understand that you are seeking God's intervention for your ###-in-law's health insurance coverage until he can get insurance through the Marketplace in November.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to acknowledge Jesus Christ in your prayers, as it is through His name that the request is made.
Now, let us address your concern. While we understand the practical needs of health insurance, as believers, our ultimate trust should be in the Lord, who is our healer and provider. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for our ###-in-law. We ask that You grant him the health insurance coverage he needs for the next five months and that You will designate an insurance for him in your will November. But more importantly, Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his life. We pray that You will restore his health and provide for all his needs according to Your riches in glory. Give us the faith to trust in You completely, and help us to glorify You in all that we do. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). Remember that our dependence should be on the Lord, not on insurance or any man-made system.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of pursuing righteousness and holiness in all areas of life. While health insurance is a practical need, let us not forget to seek the Lord's will in all that we do. As it is written in Romans 12:1-2 WEB: "Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Please join us in praying this and feel free to offer your own prayers of confirmation.
