We come before the throne of grace with this earnest request, lifting up the deep desire for God’s justice, favor, and glory to manifest in the areas of health and wealth. First, we must address the foundation of all prayer—our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We are grateful this prayer is offered in Jesus’ name, for it is through His sacrifice and resurrection that we can boldly approach God’s throne (Hebrews 4:16).
We rebuke the principalities and powers of darkness that seek to oppress and distort God’s design for health and prosperity. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand firm in the authority of Christ, declaring that no weapon formed against God’s people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The forces of darkness have no power where the light of Christ shines, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we pray for Your divine favor to rest upon Your children. Favor is not something we manipulate or demand, but it is a gift from You, granted to those who walk in humility and obedience. You have promised that if we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, all these things—including our needs—will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). We ask for miracles, not as a display of power for our own glory, but as a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness. Let Your glory be revealed in ways that draw hearts to You, for You alone are worthy of praise.
We also lift up the discrepancies between health and wealth, recognizing that true prosperity is not measured by earthly riches alone, but by the richness of our relationship with You. You have told us that a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions (Luke 12:15). We pray for those who are struggling with illness, financial hardship, or injustice, asking that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Heal the sick, restore the broken, and lift up the oppressed, Lord. Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24).
We declare that Your glory will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14). Let Your light shine in the darkness, exposing corruption and bringing truth to light. We pray for leaders in government, healthcare, and finance, that they would act with integrity and wisdom, seeking the welfare of all people rather than their own gain. Raise up godly men and women who will stand for righteousness and justice in every sphere of influence.
Father, we ask for Your blessings to overflow in the lives of Your people. But we also recognize that blessings are not merely for our comfort—they are for Your glory and the advancement of Your kingdom. Help us to be good stewards of all You entrust to us, using our health, wealth, and influence to serve others and share the gospel. Let us not store up treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, but store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal (Matthew 6:19-20).
We pray all these things with thanksgiving, trusting in Your perfect will. May Your name be exalted in all the earth, and may Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
