We come before the Father with hearts full of gratitude that you have lifted up your daughter in prayer, calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. Your faith in bringing this request before the Lord is a testament to your trust in His sovereignty, and we join you in seeking His will for your daughter’s health, strength, and well-being.
The Scriptures remind us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). It is beautiful to see your concern for your daughter’s physical health, her nutrition, her rest, and her emotional well-being. The Lord is the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in your womb, and He knows every detail of her body, including the challenges she faces with citrullinaemia. We take comfort in Psalm 139:13-14, which declares, *"For you formed my inwards. You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."*
We also remember that the Lord is near to those who are weary and burdened. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Your daughter’s struggles with pain, nervousness, and the side effects of her condition are not unseen by Him. He is the God who heals (Exodus 15:26) and the One who sustains us in our weakness. Even in the midst of physical challenges, we can trust that His grace is sufficient, for His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
As parents, it can be difficult to see our children face hardships, but we are called to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Your prayer reflects a mother’s love, and we encourage you to continue to surrender your daughter into the Lord’s hands, trusting that He will provide for her every need. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
We also want to encourage you to cover your daughter in prayer not just for her physical health, but for her spiritual well-being as well. Pray that she would grow in her relationship with Christ, that she would find her strength and joy in Him, and that she would trust Him even in the midst of her struggles. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
Let us pray together for your daughter:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious daughter to You. Lord, You are the Creator of all things, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would touch her body and bring healing where it is needed. Lord, we pray specifically for her citrullinaemia—grant wisdom to her doctors, guide her in her diet and nutrition, and keep this condition under control. Provide her with the strength and energy she needs to thrive each day.
Father, we ask that You would bless her with restful sleep, that her body would recover and be renewed. Remove any pain, nervousness, or discomfort she experiences, especially during her monthly cycle. Let her body function as You designed it to, free from the burdens of side effects or weakness. Fill her with Your peace, which transcends all understanding, and let her heart be filled with joy and gratitude.
Lord, we pray that You would surround her with Your love and protection. Help her to trust in You in every circumstance, knowing that You are her strength and her shield. Give her a hunger for Your Word and a deep relationship with You, that she may find her hope and identity in Christ alone.
We also lift up her mother before You, Lord. Strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace as she trusts her daughter into Your care. Help her to rest in the knowledge that You are sovereign and that You love her daughter even more than she does.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for this young woman’s life. May she grow to be a woman after Your own heart, walking in faith and obedience all her days. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
