We lift up your father’s health before the Lord, asking for divine healing over his low back pain, diabetes, and every other ailment afflicting his body. May God’s restorative power flow through him, renewing his strength and bringing relief where there is pain. We also pray for wisdom and discernment for both your parents as they seek holistic ways to care for their bodies—through diet, environment, and mental well-being—trusting in God’s design for health rather than relying solely on man-made remedies. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we ask that they would steward it well, honoring God in all things.
Most importantly, we intercede for their salvation, that their hearts would be softened to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. May the Holy Spirit convict them of sin, leading them to repentance and a transformed life in Christ. There is no greater healing than the forgiveness of sins and eternal life found only in Him. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Let them turn from every sin—known and unknown—and walk in the freedom and peace that comes from surrendering to Jesus.
We also commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* (John 14:6, WEB). May your parents come to know this truth and place their faith in Christ alone.
**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this beloved family. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask for Your healing touch upon this father’s body. Remove every sickness, pain, and infirmity, and grant him strength and vitality. Open the eyes of both parents to see the importance of caring for their bodies as temples of Your Spirit, making wise choices in diet, lifestyle, and mental health. But above all, Father, draw them to Yourself. Break the hardness of their hearts and lead them to repentance. Let them turn from sin and embrace Jesus as their Savior, that they may have eternal life and walk in Your will. May this family be united in Christ, serving You together in faith and love. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
