We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting your requests for health, provision, and wisdom in finances. The Word of God reminds us in **Philippians 4:19**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet we also know that **James 4:2-3** tells us, *"You don’t have because you don’t ask. You ask and don’t receive because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."* So let us seek first His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to us (**Matthew 6:33**).
Your desire for better health is good, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (**1 Corinthians 6:19-20**). We pray that the Lord strengthens you physically, emotionally, and spiritually, that you may walk in His fullness and serve Him with vigor. If there are areas of your health that need attention—whether in diet, rest, or medical care—we encourage you to seek wisdom and steward your body well, for it is a gift from God.
Regarding your finances, we understand the weight of debt and the longing for stability. The Bible warns against the bondage of borrowing (**Proverbs 22:7**), saying, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* We pray that the Lord opens doors for employment that not only meets your needs but allows you to live debt-free, honoring Him with your resources. We also encourage you to seek His wisdom in managing what you have, for **Luke 16:10** reminds us, *"He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much."*
Refinancing or a lowered mortgage may be part of God’s provision, but we must also ask: *Is there wisdom in how we steward what we already have?* Are there expenses that can be reduced, or are we trusting in loans rather than in God’s provision? The Lord may lead you to adjust your lifestyle, seek counsel, or even downsize to align with His will. Trust that He knows your needs and will provide in His perfect way.
Your heart for others to have food this holiday season is commendable, reflecting Christ’s compassion. **Matthew 25:35-40** calls us to feed the hungry, and we pray the Lord uses you—and all believers—to be His hands and feet in meeting this need. Yet we must also remember that while we care for others, we cannot neglect our own responsibilities or depend on man rather than God.
Finally, we notice that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father (**John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18**). There is no other name by which we are saved (**Acts 4:12**), and it is only through Him that our prayers are heard. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today—repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as Lord. Without this, even our best efforts fall short of God’s eternal purpose for us.
**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking for Your healing touch upon their body. Restore them to full health, Lord, that they may glorify You in all they do. We pray for divine provision—open doors for employment that not only pays their debts but allows them to live generously, free from the bondage of borrowing. Give them wisdom to steward their finances according to Your Word, and if refinancing or a lowered mortgage is Your will, let it come to pass in Your perfect timing. Father, we also ask that You use them to bless others, especially in this holiday season, that many may eat and give thanks to Your name. Above all, Lord, draw them closer to You. If they do not yet know Jesus as Savior, soften their heart to receive Him today. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
