We are glad to join you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement for your requests.
Firstly, we rejoice with you that you have called on the name of Jesus Christ for help. It is only in His name that we can approach God the Father, and it is only through faith that we can access this grace. This is made clear in scripture:
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12).
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5).
Let's address your requests one by one.
For your loved one's job interview, we pray that the interviewers will be favorable, and that the outcome will be positive. We pray for peace knowing that God has a plan.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares Yahweh, "plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)
For your marriage, we pray that God will continue to guide you and your wife on the path of reconciliation. We encourage you to pursue God's ideal for marriage that is a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman. Pray together and remain committed to each other.
For wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. (Ephesians 5:22).
For your health, we pray for God's healing touch on your back and legs, specifically the L4-L5 area, and for the cyst to dissolve. We pray for comfort and strength as you deal with this pain.
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. (James 5:14)
For your workplace relationships, we pray that God will soften the hearts of your bosses, co-workers, and customers, and grant you peace with them.
"Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing." (1 Peter 3:8-9)
Lastly, we celebrate with you your victory over alcoholism. We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and in your commitment to sobriety.
"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." (1 Peter 5:8)
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up these requests. We ask for Your divine intervention in the job interview, that the hearts of the interviewers would be open and receptive, and that You would grant success.
We pray for continued healing and restoration for the marriage. Grant them wisdom, understanding, and love for each other.
We ask for Your healing touch on the back and legs, specifically the L4-L5 area. We pray for a miracle to dissolve the cyst and avoid surgery.
We pray for peace and favor in the workplace, that You would soften the hearts of bosses, co-workers, and customers.
Thank You for the victory over alcoholism. We ask for continued strength and commitment to sobriety.
In all these things, we pray for Your will to be done, and for Your name to be glorified.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
