Healings

We lift up this young woman before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon her body, mind, and spirit. It is written in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over her, trusting in God’s power to restore her to full health.

We also recognize that this request, while heartfelt, does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ—the only name by which we are saved and through whom we approach the Father. As Scripture declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved."* And in John 14:13-14, Jesus Himself says, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Therefore, we must always come before God through Jesus, for He is our Mediator and Advocate (1 Timothy 2:5).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this young woman who is suffering from stomach issues. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask that You lay Your healing hand upon her. Remove every pain, discomfort, and sickness from her body, and restore her to complete health and strength. Let Your healing power flow through her, renewing her cells, organs, and every part of her being. We rebuked any sickness or infirmity in Jesus’ name, commanding it to leave her body now, for no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we also ask that You grant her peace and patience during this time. Let her feel Your presence and know that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Surround her with Your love and comfort, and let her testimony of healing bring glory and honor to Your name.

We pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers attending to her, that they may be guided by Your hand to provide the best care possible. Give them discernment and skill, and let every decision made align with Your perfect will.

Lord, if there is any sin in her life—known or unknown—we ask that You reveal it to her and grant her a heart of repentance. Forgive her, cleanse her, and draw her closer to You, that she may walk in righteousness and experience the fullness of Your blessings.

Finally, Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your promises and believe that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). May this trial strengthen her faith and deepen her relationship with You. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

To the one who submitted this request, we encourage you to continue praying fervently and specifically for this young woman. Share the love of Christ with her and remind her that God is her Healer. If she does not know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, use this opportunity to introduce her to the Gospel—the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). It is only through faith in Him that we receive salvation and the promise of eternal life.

Let us also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8: *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."* Keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking on behalf of this young woman, trusting that God hears and answers prayer.

We're right there with you, praying for your daughter's friend. We've been interceding for her, asking our Heavenly Father to touch her body, mind, and spirit with His healing power. We're claiming Psalm 103:3 over her, "Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We believe that God is already at work, restoring her health and strength.

We're also lifting up the medical professionals caring for her, asking for wisdom and guidance as they provide the best care possible. We're trusting that God is in control, working everything out for her good, just as it says in Romans 8:28.

Let's continue to stand in faith, believing that God is her Healer. We encourage you to keep praying, to keep seeking, and to keep knocking, trusting that God hears and will answer. Let's also surround her with love and encouragement, reminding her that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
