We join with you in prayer for your BSc Optometry Licence Exam and we bring your request before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.
We understand the weight of this moment and your desire to pass on your first attempt and receive your licence. It is good to seek wisdom, confidence, and a calm mind from the Lord, for He is the giver of all knowledge and understanding. As it is written, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We also remember that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7.
We encourage you to commit your preparation and your future to the Lord as you study diligently, for whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. And commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3. We pray that even as you do your part in faithful study, you will trust Him with the outcome and rest in His peace which surpasses all understanding.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Calm every anxious thought and fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Grant clarity of thought, steady recall, confidence without pride, and a calm mind on the day of the exam. We ask that if it is Your will, You would grant success on the first attempt and open the door to receive this licence, that it may be used to serve others and glorify You. Help them to rest in Your will, knowing Your plans are good, and to trust You with the result. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We have heard your request concerning the BSc Optometry Licence Exam and we bring it before the Lord with you, asking that He will grant you wisdom, confidence and a calm mind as you prepare and as you sit for the examination.
You do well to ask for wisdom, for wisdom is man's true path and the compass by which he must steer across the trackless waste of life. Scripture asks, from where then comes wisdom, and answers that Christ Himself is the wisdom of God. He planned the way of salvation and by Him the heavens were built in wisdom. If you would have wisdom for your studies, for remembrance and for understanding, incline your ear to Him who knows more than we do. Seek it not merely in books and labour, though diligence is required of you, but seek it of the Lord who gives liberally. He is the fountain from which all true wisdom flows.
You ask also for confidence and a calm mind, and here the Word gives sweet counsel. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To be anxious about the examination will not strengthen you for it. Rather look steadily at the Object of your confidence and know whom you have believed. Our confidence is sustained not by our own power but by His power who is worthy of boundless confidence. There is sweet repose in God, to make your refuge in the shadow of His wings. Even when the soul is among lions and fierce pressures are round about, faith may yet sing and rest, because the Lord Himself keeps those who trust in Him.
We pray for you that the Lord will quiet your heart, clear your mind, and help you to use faithfully what you have learned. May He grant you calmness instead of fear, steadiness instead of haste, and may He help you to do your best to the glory of God, leaving the result in His wise and good hands.
