We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens to our Heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children. We acknowledge that true healing—spirit, soul, and body—comes only through the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we lift up this dear sister and her husband, asking for Your divine healing to flow over their bodies, minds, and marriage. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You touch their ears, relieve the ringing, and restore hearing where it has been lost. Your Word declares, "He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name. For anxiety, depression, and panic attacks, we declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We bind the racing thoughts and the heaviness in her spirit, asking You to replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also bring their marriage before You. Marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We ask that You knit their hearts together in love, patience, and understanding. Help them to communicate with kindness and to forgive one another as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13). Where there is strife or misunderstanding, we ask that You soften their hearts and draw them closer to You—and to each other.
For her sisters, ### and ###, who are battling cancer, we stand in the gap and declare Your healing power over their bodies. You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we believe that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We rebuke the spirit of cancer and command it to leave their bodies in Jesus' name. Strengthen their faith and surround them with Your peace as they walk through this trial.
We also lift up her upcoming doctor’s appointments. Lord, we ask that You calm her anxiety and fill her with Your peace. Help her to trust in You rather than in the pill she takes for anxiety. Your Word says, "Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). We pray that the results of her blood pressure test would be favorable and that she would experience Your presence in a tangible way during these appointments.
Father, we know that these feelings of fear and heaviness are not from You. We rebuke the enemy’s lies and declare that she is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and filled with the Holy Spirit. We encourage her to meditate on Your Word, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Fill her mind with scriptures that remind her of Your love, power, and faithfulness. Remind her that You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also encourage her to seek godly counsel and fellowship with other believers. The enemy wants to isolate her, but You have called us to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Surround her with a community of faith that will pray for her, encourage her, and hold her accountable.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We declare that this sister and her husband are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We pray for complete healing—body, mind, and spirit—and for a marriage that honors You. Strengthen her sisters and their families as they battle illness, and let Your glory be revealed in every situation.
