We come before the throne of grace with your request for healing, lifting up your back and lungs to the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. We know that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise as we intercede for you.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this dear one. Lord, You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in Your mercy and power to restore health. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and pain that may be afflicting their body, for it is written that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). We declare that their back is strengthened and their lungs are cleansed, functioning in perfect health according to Your will.
We also encourage you to seek the Lord diligently in this time, drawing near to Him so that He may draw near to you (James 4:8). Place your trust fully in Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If there are areas in your life where you may have opened doors to sickness through sin or disobedience, we urge you to confess and repent, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and can boldly come before His throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. We lift up this precious child of Yours, asking for Your healing power to flow through their body. Lord, we speak life and health into their back and lungs, commanding every cell to align with Your perfect design. We break the power of any sickness or disease in Jesus' name, and we declare that this one is healed by the blood of the Lamb.
Father, we ask that You would grant them patience and perseverance as they wait on You. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they feel Your presence surrounding them, comforting them, and reminding them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
We also pray for wisdom for their healthcare providers, that You would guide their hands and minds as they care for this one. Give them discernment and insight into the best course of treatment.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We trust in Your promises and believe that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May this time of healing draw them closer to You and deepen their relationship with You.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
