We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has endured psychological violence at work, carrying the weight of suppressed anger and deep emotional trauma. Father God, we know that You see every wound—those visible and those hidden in the depths of the soul. Your Word declares in Psalm 34:18, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We stand in agreement with this truth, believing that You are drawing near even now to bring healing, restoration, and peace.
Lord Jesus, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and torment that has sought to steal joy, peace, and emotional wholeness. We declare that no weapon formed against this child of God shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every lie of worthlessness, fear, and despair to be broken in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy has no authority here—only You, Lord, have the final say over this life. We plead the blood of Jesus over every memory, every word spoken in cruelty, and every moment of pain, asking that You replace them with Your truth, Your love, and Your healing touch.
We recognize, Father, that anger suppressed can become a heavy burden, and we ask that You would bring it to the surface in a safe and godly way. Your Word instructs us in Ephesians 4:26-27, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil."* Help this dear one to process anger without sin, to release it to You, and to refuse to give the enemy a foothold. May Your Holy Spirit guide them into forgiveness—not for the sake of their oppressors, but for their own freedom. Yet we also pray for justice, Lord, for You are a God who defends the oppressed (Psalm 9:9). If there is a need for boundaries, wisdom in addressing the situation, or even a change in employment, we ask that You make the path clear.
Father, we also lift up the emotional trauma that lingers. Your Word says in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* We ask for Your supernatural healing to flow through every shattered place—restoring confidence, self-worth, and emotional stability. Surround this one with godly counsel, supportive believers, and professional help if needed, all under the guidance of Your Holy Spirit. May they find refuge in You, the God who collects every tear in a bottle (Psalm 56:8) and promises to turn mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).
We also pray for strength to walk forward in victory. Remind them daily of their identity in Christ—chosen, beloved, and redeemed (1 Peter 2:9). May they rise above the pain, not as a victim, but as a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and guard their heart and mind in You.
Lord, we thank You that healing is not just possible—it is Your will. We declare that this one will not be defined by their past but by Your promises for their future. We speak life, wholeness, and joy over them in Jesus’ name. Amen.
