We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains every breath we take. We stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is already ours (Isaiah 53:5), and we receive it by faith.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this precious one’s heart, lungs, kidneys, and every part of their body affected by diabetes. Breathe new life into their lungs, strengthen their heart, purify their kidneys, and restore balance to their blood sugar. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written, "He himself bore our sicknesses and carried our pains" (Matthew 8:17). We declare that this body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we command it to align with Your perfect design.
We also lift up their emotional and spiritual well-being, for healing is not just physical but holistic. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin weighing on their heart, we pray for Your conviction and cleansing. Lead them to repentance and restoration, for Your Word says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
Father, we encourage this dear one to draw near to You in this season. Spend time in Your Word, for it is life and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22). Surround them with godly believers who will pray in agreement for their healing and speak life over them. Remind them that You are their Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27).
We also urge them to seek wise medical counsel, for You often work through the hands of doctors and the wisdom You’ve given them. However, we declare that Your healing power is greater than any diagnosis or prognosis. We stand on Mark 11:24, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
Lastly, we want to gently remind this beloved child of God that true healing and salvation come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that they would do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is the greatest healing of all, for it mends the separation between God and man caused by sin.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and love. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in this life. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
