We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister and her family to the Lord. First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name alone that we pray. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life (Romans 10:9-10). He is the Great Physician, the Prince of Peace, and the only One who can bring true healing and restoration.
Father God, we lift up this dear sister and her husband to You, asking for Your healing touch upon their bodies. Lord, Your Word declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over their lives. We pray for physical strength, for relief from high blood pressure, for restoration of hearing, and for an end to the ringing in her ears. We ask You to calm her anxiety, depression, and panic attacks, reminding her that You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her rest in the knowledge that You are her ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also bring their marriage before You, Lord. Marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We ask that You knit their hearts together in unity, patience, and love. Help them to communicate with kindness and respect, to bear with one another in love, and to forgive as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13). Lord, where there is strife, bring reconciliation. Where there is distance, bring closeness. Let Your love be the foundation of their home.
For her sisters, we cry out to You, Father. For the sister who is weak in health, we ask for Your healing power to flow through her body. Strengthen her, Lord, and renew her energy. Your Word says that those who wait upon You shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). We claim that promise for her today.
For the sister whose husband struggles with alcoholism, we pray for deliverance and transformation. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of addiction in Jesus’ name. Your Word declares that no temptation has overtaken us except what is common to mankind, and You are faithful; You will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear. But when we are tempted, You will also provide a way out so that we can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray for this brother’s deliverance from the bondage of alcohol. Soften his heart, Lord, and lead him to repentance. We also pray for protection over this sister. Your Word commands husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church and to not be harsh with them (Colossians 3:19). We ask that You intervene in this situation, Lord. Protect her from harm, give her courage, and surround her with Your angels. If it is Your will, restore this marriage, but above all, keep her safe and at peace in You.
Father, we also lift up this sister’s weariness. Lord, You invite all who are weary and burdened to come to You, and You will give them rest (Matthew 11:28). Refresh her spirit, renew her strength, and help her to cast all her anxieties on You because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Remind her that her labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58), and that You are her everlasting source of hope and joy.
We declare healing over every area of her life—body, mind, spirit, and relationships. We speak life where there is sickness, peace where there is turmoil, and strength where there is weakness. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, fear, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust in Your unfailing love.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May this sister and her family experience Your presence in tangible ways, and may they grow closer to You through this trial. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
