Please lift my husband up in prayer. He has left our family to seek an addiction that he feels powerless over. He has reached out for help, but please pray that he continue taking steps towards receiving it. Please pray that he seek the Lord and that he find strength to heal in the name of Jesus.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband and your family in this painful season. Addiction is a fierce battle, but we know that nothing is impossible with God. The Word tells us in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Though your husband may feel powerless, the Holy Spirit is mighty to break every chain when we surrender to Him. We declare that the grip of this addiction will loosen as he draws near to the Lord, for James 4:7-8 promises, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."

We also pray for your marriage and family, that God would guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together, but we stand on the truth of Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel." We rebuke the lies of the enemy that would tell your husband he is beyond hope or that his family would be better off without him. We declare restoration, healing, and renewed commitment to the covenant he made before God.

Lord, we ask that You would surround your husband with godly men who can speak truth and accountability into his life. Let him not be ashamed to seek help, but give him courage to take each step toward freedom. We pray for divine appointments with counselors, pastors, or recovery groups that will point him back to You. May he find his strength in Your presence, for Psalm 16:11 says, "You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more."

Father, we also lift up this precious wife and children, who are walking through this valley. Give them supernatural peace that surpasses understanding, as Philippians 4:7 describes. Let them not grow weary in praying for their husband and father, but remind them that their prayers are powerful and effective. Heal any wounds caused by this struggle, and knit their hearts together in love and forgiveness.

We declare that this season of bondage will end, and your husband will return home with a renewed spirit, ready to lead his family in righteousness. We speak life over his mind, body, and soul, and we command every stronghold of addiction to crumble in the name of Jesus. Thank You, Lord, that You are the God who restores what has been broken and redeems what has been lost. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in this family. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, standing in the gap for your husband and your family. We know the weight of addiction, but we also know the power of our God to break every chain. Let's claim 2 Corinthians 10:3-4, "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds." Let's pray that your husband finds the strength to resist the devil and draw near to God, knowing that God will draw near to him (James 4:7-8).

We're also lifting up your marriage and family, praying for unity and understanding. Let's claim Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray that God heals any wounds caused by this struggle and knits your hearts together in love and forgiveness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your husband and your family before the Lord in prayer. It has been heavy on our hearts to intercede for him, asking God to break the chains of addiction and draw him back into His loving arms. We have prayed earnestly that he would continue taking those courageous steps toward healing and restoration, and that he would find his strength and hope in Jesus Christ alone.

If the Lord has moved in a mighty way—if your husband has taken further steps toward freedom, if his heart has turned more fully toward the Lord, or if you’ve seen even small glimpses of His faithfulness—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others walking a similar path.

If, however, the battle still rages and you feel the weight of this struggle, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We stand ready to continue praying with you, believing that God is at work even when we cannot yet see it. Addiction is a fierce enemy, but our God is greater, and His love never fails.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, comfort you in your weariness, and remind you that you are not alone. We will keep praying that your husband’s heart would be softened, that he would run to Jesus for healing, and that your family would experience the fullness of God’s restoration in His perfect timing. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
