We lift up ### before the throne of grace, trusting in the mighty healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Word declares in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our cries and will restore health to ### according to His perfect will.
Father, in the precious name of Jesus, we ask You to touch ### with Your healing hand. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed him in his mother’s womb and knows every cell of his body. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and disease that may be afflicting him. Your Word says in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this truth over ###’s life, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we also ask that You would strengthen ###’s faith and fill him with Your peace as he waits on You. Remind him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). If there are areas in his life where he needs to surrender more fully to You, reveal them to him, and grant him the grace to walk in obedience. We pray that his healing would not only restore his physical body but also draw him closer to You, bringing glory to Your name.
We also lift up those who are praying for ###, asking that You would fill them with hope and perseverance. Let them see Your hand at work in this situation, even when the answer is not yet visible. Your Word tells us in Matthew 18:19-20, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." We stand in agreement, believing that You are moving even now on ###’s behalf.
Father, we trust You with the outcome, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours and Your timing is perfect. Whether You choose to heal ### instantly, gradually, or in eternity, we know that Your will is good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2). We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
