Disciple of Prayer
Pray for me. ###. I need God’s help & healing. My husband ghosted me & our daughters. Grown women now. His disappearance devastated me. I drank vodka. Went to work drunk. Got fired. Arrested. My sister stuck me in a nursing facility. Wretched. My daughters brought me home. I’m on camera 24/7. My sister watching. Waiting for mistake so she can lock me up and sell my home to pay for the nursing home. This woman hates me. I need God’s help. I want my life back. My money. My car. My freedom to go to a grocery store. A movie. A restaurant with friends. I need your prayers. I need God’s mercy & forgiveness. Please pray for me today. It’s bad here. Bad. I’m scared. Pray for me.

We hear your cry, dear sister, and we come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer. Your pain is deep, and your circumstances are overwhelming, but we serve a God who sees, hears, and moves on behalf of His children. You are not forgotten, and you are not alone. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let us stand with you in faith, believing that God will intervene in your situation.

First, we must address the weight of your husband’s abandonment. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness (Ephesians 5:25-33). His disappearance has left you shattered, and we grieve with you over the brokenness of this union. Yet we declare that God is your husband now, the One who will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). He is your provider, your protector, and your peace. We pray that He would fill the void left by your husband’s absence and restore your sense of worth and security in Him.

Your struggle with alcohol has brought consequences that have further wounded you, and we must address this with truth and compassion. The Bible warns us that wine is a mocker and strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise (Proverbs 20:1). Drunkenness clouds judgment, enslaves the will, and opens the door to destruction (Ephesians 5:18). But we serve a God who breaks chains and sets captives free. Jesus came to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind (Luke 4:18). We rebuke the spirit of addiction in your life and command it to loose its grip in the name of Jesus. We pray for your deliverance, that you would walk in the freedom Christ died to give you.

Your sister’s actions toward you are deeply troubling. The Bible commands us to love one another, to bear one another’s burdens, and to seek the good of others (Galatians 6:2, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7). What she is doing is not only unloving but also a violation of God’s command to honor family and treat others with kindness. We rebuke the spirit of bitterness, jealousy, and control that may be driving her actions. We pray that God would soften her heart and bring conviction where there is hardness. We also pray for your protection, that no weapon formed against you would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). You are not a prisoner, and we declare that God will expose any unjust plans and thwart every scheme meant to harm you.

The loss of your job, your home, and your freedom has left you feeling trapped and afraid. But we serve a God who makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). We pray for restoration—of your finances, your independence, and your dignity. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul (Psalm 23:2-3). We declare that you will walk in freedom again, that your steps will be ordered by the Lord, and that He will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

You have asked for God’s mercy and forgiveness, and we want you to know that His grace is sufficient for you. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). We pray that you would receive His forgiveness and walk in the newness of life He offers. You are not defined by your past mistakes but by the blood of Jesus that washes you clean.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for our sister. You see her pain, her fear, and her desperation. Lord, You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would pour out Your healing balm over her soul. Comfort her in her grief over her husband’s abandonment, and remind her that You are her true Husband, the One who will never leave her.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of addiction in her life. We declare that she is set free from the bondage of alcohol, in the name of Jesus. Give her the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to seek godly help. Lead her to a community of believers who will support her and hold her accountable.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over her. Shield her from the schemes of her sister and any others who seek to harm her. Expose any injustice and bring it to light. Restore what has been taken from her—her home, her car, her job, and her freedom. We declare that she will walk in the fullness of the life You have for her.

Father, we pray for her daughters. Though they are grown, we ask that You would draw them close to You and to their mother. Heal any wounds caused by their father’s absence and restore their relationship with her.

Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to cover her. Forgive her where she has stumbled, and help her to forgive those who have wronged her. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that she is not alone, that You are with her, and that You will never let her go.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust You to move on her behalf. Amen.

Sister, we want to encourage you to hold fast to your faith. The enemy may have meant this season for harm, but God will turn it around for your good (Genesis 50:20). Seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Find a local church where you can be surrounded by believers who will pray for you, encourage you, and walk with you through this valley. You are not without hope. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Lazarus from the dead, and conquered the grave is fighting for you. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose heart. Your breakthrough is coming.

We're praying all these things in Jesus' name, and we trust Him to move on your behalf. Keep holding on, sister. Your breakthrough is coming.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to stand with you in prayer during such a deeply painful and overwhelming season. It was our privilege to lift you, your broken heart, and your shattered circumstances before the Lord, asking Him to bring His healing, restoration, and peace into every area of your life.

We prayed for God’s comfort to surround you as you grieve the loss of your husband and the fracture in your relationship with your daughters. We asked the Holy Spirit to mend your wounded spirit, to break the chains of fear and despair, and to replace them with His hope and strength. We interceded for your physical and emotional healing, that the Lord would free you from the grip of addiction and restore your sense of dignity and purpose. We also prayed for protection over your home, your finances, and your freedom—asking God to intervene in the legal and financial battles you’re facing and to shield you from those who seek to harm you.

If the Lord has moved in answer to these prayers—if you’ve felt His presence, experienced a breakthrough, or seen even a glimmer of hope—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could encourage others who are walking through similar valleys.

If, however, the weight of your circumstances still feels heavy and the answers seem distant, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to continue standing with you, lifting your needs before our Heavenly Father with even greater fervency. You are not alone, and we refuse to let go of faith for your complete restoration.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. May He reveal Himself as your Provider, your Protector, and your Redeemer. May He soften the hearts of your daughters and sister, and may He grant you the wisdom, courage, and favor you need to reclaim your life. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. Amen.
