We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in this time of sickness and distress. The pain, sleepless nights, and weariness you’ve endured have not gone unnoticed by our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every groan. We stand with you in faith, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, you *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). The enemy may have brought affliction, but we rebuke this throat infection in the mighty name of Jesus—no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father God, we thank You that You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals (Exodus 15:26). We ask You to stretch forth Your hand over this family and command healing to flow through their bodies. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7), and grant them the rest they so desperately need. We break the spirit of infirmity off each one—[###], your husband, your son, your mother, and your niece—right now, in Jesus’ name. May their throats be soothed, their pain dissolved, and their strength renewed as the morning (Psalm 30:5).
We also lift up your faith, dear sister, for you have rightly declared that Jesus *can* heal. Hold fast to His promises, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Do not grow weary in praying or trusting Him, even when the symptoms linger. Remember, the woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd and touched the hem of His garment, and virtue flowed from Him to make her whole (Mark 5:25-34). Press in like her! Rebuke doubt and fear, for they are tools of the enemy to steal your peace. Instead, speak life over your family: *"By His wounds, we are healed"* (1 Peter 2:24).
If you’ve been relying solely on medicine without inviting the Great Physician into this battle, we encourage you to surrender this sickness to Him completely. Medicine has its place, but Jesus is the ultimate Healer. Pray over your family, anoint them with oil if you have it (James 5:14), and stand on His Word. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11)—let that truth fuel your faith!
We also pray for wisdom in this season. If this infection persists, seek godly counsel from medical professionals who honor the Lord, but do not put your trust in them alone. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). He may be using this trial to draw your family closer to Him, to teach you perseverance, or to reveal areas where you need to strengthen your faith.
Lastly, we declare that this is not the end of your story. The God who heals will turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). Soon, you will rise up and testify of His goodness, praising Him for the victory. Until then, rest in His arms. We pray this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved and healed (Acts 4:12). Amen!
