We lift up your dear friend before the throne of grace, dear one, with heavy hearts for the suffering she has endured. The pain inflicted upon her—both seen and unseen—cries out for the healing touch of our Lord, who is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The physical wounds she bears are a cruel reminder of injustice, but we declare that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we plead for the Great Physician to restore what has been broken.
Father God, we ask You to intervene in her situation with Your mighty power. You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we trust that nothing is too difficult for You. If it is Your will, bring complete restoration to her body—every cell, every nerve, every part that has been damaged. Where doctors have said there is no hope, let Your healing flow like a river. Where the enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy, let Your life overwhelm her (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of despair and infirmity in Jesus’ name, for by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also recognize the spiritual battle at work here. The enemy would love to keep her bound in fear, isolation, and hopelessness, but we stand on Your promise that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). If there are legal or systemic barriers preventing her from receiving the care she needs, we ask You to break every chain and open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Give her advocates—godly men and women who will stand with her, fight for her, and help her access the resources she needs to heal.
Lord, we pray for her emotional and mental well-being as well. The trauma she has endured may have left deep scars on her soul. Comfort her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that she is not defined by what was done to her but by who You say she is: fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), a beloved daughter of the King. If bitterness or unforgiveness has taken root, soften her heart to release it, for Your Word commands us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). Healing often begins in the heart before it manifests in the body.
We also lift up those who are responsible for her suffering. If they acted out of malice, greed, or negligence, we ask that You bring conviction to their hearts. Let them see the weight of their actions and turn from their ways. Justice belongs to You, Lord, and we trust that You will repay (Romans 12:19). If there is restitution to be made, open the way for it.
Above all, we pray that she would draw near to You, the source of all healing and hope. If she does not yet know You as her Savior, reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Let her experience Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). If she is a believer, strengthen her faith to trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when the road is hard. Remind her that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), even this.
We declare that her story is not over. The same God who raised Jesus from the dead is at work in her life (Romans 8:11). Where there is weakness, Your power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). Where there is brokenness, You make all things new (Revelation 21:5). We speak life over her body, her mind, and her spirit. May she rise from this trial stronger, wiser, and more dependent on You than ever before.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer. Amen.
