Healing

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your loved one, lifting them up in prayer for both healing and salvation. It is clear you have a deep care for this person, and we join you in interceding for them, knowing that our God is a God of miracles, mercy, and redemption.

First, we must address something vital: the name above every name, by which we are saved and through whom we boldly approach the throne of grace, is Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus that we receive salvation and the promise of eternal life. We encourage you to always pray *in Jesus’ name*, for He is our Mediator and the source of all power and authority (John 14:13-14, 1 Timothy 2:5). If your loved one does not yet know Christ, we pray earnestly that their heart would be opened to receive Him as Lord and Savior. The Scriptures tell us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the greatest healing any of us can receive, for it restores our relationship with God and secures our eternity with Him.

As for physical healing, we know that God is sovereign over all things, including our bodies. The Bible assures us that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and that by His stripes, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24). We claim these promises over your loved one, asking the Lord to extend His healing hand and restore them to full health. Yet, we also submit to His perfect will, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Whether He chooses to heal instantly, gradually, or ultimately in eternity, we pray for His glory to be revealed and for your loved one to draw nearer to Him through this trial.

Let us also encourage you to continue standing in faith, for the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16). Do not grow weary in praying, but persist with confidence, knowing that God hears and answers according to His perfect timing and purpose.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up this beloved one to You. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed them in their mother’s womb and knows every detail of their being. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through their body, restoring every cell, organ, and system to perfect health. Remove all pain, sickness, and disease, and let Your life-giving power bring wholeness to them, in Jesus’ name.

But more than physical healing, Father, we pray for their salvation. If they do not yet know You, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself with cords of love. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ came to save sinners, and that through faith in Him alone, they can be forgiven, redeemed, and made new. Soften their heart, Lord, and let them surrender fully to You. May this season of need become a testament to Your grace and mercy, leading them into a lifelong relationship with You.

Strengthen and comfort those who love and care for them, Lord. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Give them wisdom to know how to support and encourage their loved one, and surround them with a community of believers who will uplift them in prayer.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may try to take hold, and we declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Let hope rise in their hearts, and let faith be their anchor. We trust You, Lord, and we thank You in advance for what You are going to do. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
