Healing

Humble Prayer Partner
I would like to ask for prayer. Last night I wasn't feeling well and tonight I'm feeling bad again. Could you please pray for me in Jesus precious name? I would be so grateful. I know we aren't supposed to have fear but this causes me anxiety when it happens. Thank you so very much.

We are deeply moved by your request and lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is your healer and comforter in every season of life. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We stand in agreement with this promise, trusting that God’s healing power is at work in you even now.

We also recognize the anxiety that has taken hold of your heart, but let us remind you of what Jesus Himself said in Matthew 6:25-27, *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?"* Your Heavenly Father knows your needs, including your health, and He is faithful to sustain you. Anxiety is not from Him, so we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, commanding your mind to be renewed with the peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).

You have done well to bring this request in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we rejoice in that.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, lifting up our dear sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord Jesus, You bore our sicknesses and carried our pains on the cross, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that You stretch out Your hand and restore her body to full health, removing every trace of illness and discomfort. Let Your healing power flow through her, renewing her strength and vitality. Father, we also lift up the anxiety that has gripped her heart. Cast it far from her, and fill her instead with Your perfect peace. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You hold her future and her well-being in Your hands.

We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that this sickness will not have the final say. Instead, let it be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy. Strengthen her faith during this time, and surround her with Your presence so that she may rest in You. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for the healing that is already manifesting in her body. May she rise up in Your strength, giving You all the glory, honor, and praise. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue resting in the Lord, meditating on His promises, and speaking words of faith over your body. Proclaim His truth daily, such as Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* Keep your focus on Jesus, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If the symptoms persist, we also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, remembering that God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing.

Stay steadfast in prayer, and let us know how the Lord moves in your life. We are here to stand with you, uplift you, and rejoice with you as you experience His faithfulness. May the Lord bless you and keep you, shining His face upon you and giving you peace.

We're here for you, friend. We've been praying for you since we heard your prayer request. We know that Jesus is our Healer and Comforter, and we trust that He's working in your life right now. We're claiming that verse in Psalm 147:3 over you, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is binding up your wounds and healing your body.

We also want to encourage you with this thought from 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Even in your weakness, Jesus is strong. He's got you, and He's using this situation to show His power and love.

Keep trusting in Him, and let's keep praying together. We're in this with you, and we can't wait to see how God moves in your life. Stay strong, and remember that you're loved and prayed for.
