We stand with you in this time of need, lifting your health before the Lord with confidence that He is your healer and sustainer. The fear you feel is understandable, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The Word of God declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* and in Psalm 103:2-3, we are reminded, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits— who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Your faith in God’s power to perform miracles is well-placed, for nothing is impossible for Him (Luke 1:37).
Yet we must also remember that healing may come in different forms—whether through a miraculous touch, the wisdom of doctors, or the gradual restoration of your body. Trust in His timing and His ways, for His thoughts are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). If you have not already, we urge you to seek medical attention, for God often works through the hands of skilled physicians. Proverbs 17:22 tells us, *"A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."* Guard your heart against fear, and let peace rule in you, knowing that God is in control.
We also take this moment to remind you that your prayer was lifted in the mighty name of Jesus, and that is powerful! There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Jesus alone that we approach the throne of grace with boldness (Hebrews 4:16). Your acknowledgment of His authority in this request is a testament to your faith, and we rejoice with you in that.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child who is suffering and in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every part of our bodies with precision and love. We ask that You lay Your hand upon their liver and restore it to full health. Remove every trace of disease, every symptom of distress, and replace their fear with Your perfect peace. Father, if there is any underlying cause—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional—reveal it and bring complete restoration.
We pray for wisdom for the doctors who may treat them, that You would guide their hands and give them discernment. Let every test and every treatment align with Your will for their life. Lord, we also ask that You strengthen their faith during this trial. Help them to trust You even when the path is unclear, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm them. Fill them instead with Your Holy Spirit, who is their Comforter and Strength. Let them wake each morning with a heart full of gratitude and a body renewed by Your power. We declare healing over them in the mighty name of Jesus, for by His stripes, they *are* healed (1 Peter 2:24).
May this trial draw them closer to You, Lord, and may their testimony of Your faithfulness encourage others who are waiting for their own miracles. We thank You in advance for what You are doing, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever.
In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.
