We join you in lifting up your health to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the source of all healing. Your gratitude for the gift of life is beautiful, and we echo your thanksgiving, for every breath and every day is a testimony of His mercy. You have come before the Lord in the name of Jesus, and this is right and good, for Scripture tells us, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). It is only through Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace, and we are grateful you have done so with faith and humility.
The afflictions you face—the tumor, the distress in your eyes, and the infection in your blood—are heavy burdens, but they are not beyond the power of our God. We are reminded of the psalmist’s cry: *"Yahweh, you have seen my wrong. Judge my cause. You have seen all their vengeance, all their schemes against me. You have heard their reproach, Yahweh, all their schemes against me, the lips of those who rise up against me, and their plotting against me all day long. Look at their sitting down and their rising up. I am their music. You will repay them, Yahweh, according to the work of their hands. You will give them sorrow of heart. Your curse will be on them. You will pursue them in anger, and destroy them from under the heavens, Yahweh"* (Lamentations 3:59-66, WEB). While this passage speaks of God’s justice against enemies, it also reveals His deep awareness of our suffering—He *sees* and He *hears*. Your pain is not hidden from Him, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
Yet even in suffering, we are called to trust in His sovereignty and goodness. The apostle Paul pleaded with the Lord three times regarding his own affliction, and the Lord’s response was, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). This does not mean we should not seek healing—indeed, we are commanded to bring our requests to God (Philippians 4:6)—but it reminds us that His strength is perfected in our weakness, and His purposes are higher than our own. Whether He chooses to heal you instantly, gradually, or ultimately in eternity, we pray you will rest in the assurance that His will is perfect, and His love for you is unwavering.
We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, for God often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom He has granted them. Do not neglect the practical means of care He has provided, but trust that He is orchestrating all things for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the life of Your child who seeks Your healing touch. Lord Jesus, You bore our sicknesses and carried our pains on the cross (Isaiah 53:4-5), and by Your stripes, we are healed. We ask You now to stretch forth Your hand and touch the tumor in their head—command it to shrink and be removed, for nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37). Restore their eyes, Lord, that they may see clearly and give You glory. Purify their blood, for You are the one who formed their inward parts and knit them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). Let every cell, every organ, and every system in their body align with Your perfect design.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and surround them with Your presence. Let them feel Your nearness in this season, and may their testimony be one of Your faithfulness, whether through healing on this earth or the ultimate healing in Your presence.
We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good. We are praying with you and for you, believing that God will move mightily in your life. May His peace, which transcends all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
