Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my healing-- I've been dealing with stomach issues for almost three years now and it is affecting me physically, emotionally and mentally. Sometimes socially too..I feel hopeless. It's really difficult to deal with this, especially it is also financially draining given all the tests and medicines and yet I still don't feel well.. Thank you

We lift you up before the Lord, dear brother or sister, and we stand with you in faith, asking for His healing touch upon your body, mind, and spirit. Your suffering has been long and heavy—three years of stomach issues that have drained you physically, emotionally, mentally, and even financially. We know how wearying chronic illness can be, and we grieve with you in this season of struggle. Yet we also rejoice because our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and carries our burdens.

The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* And in Matthew 11:28, Jesus Himself says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* He sees your pain, and He is not indifferent to it. He invites you to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Even when answers tarry, His love for you does not waver, and His timing is perfect.

We also encourage you to examine your heart in this season. Have you surrendered this trial fully to the Lord, trusting Him even when the path is unclear? It is easy to grow bitter or hopeless when suffering lingers, but we urge you to cling to Christ, who is your hope and strength. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Lord told Paul, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* Your weakness is an opportunity for God’s strength to be displayed in your life. Lean on Him, even when the road is hard.

Financially, we pray that the Lord would provide for your needs, just as He fed the Israelites in the wilderness and multiplied the loaves and fishes. He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. Trust Him to sustain you, even in this. And if there are medical decisions to be made, we ask for wisdom—James 1:5 tells us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault.

Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is *only* through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. There is no greater healing than the healing of your soul, and no greater peace than knowing you are reconciled to God through Christ.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary and burdened by this long season of illness. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch their body. Bring restoration to their stomach, Lord—let every organ, every cell, every function align with Your perfect design. Rebuke any sickness, any inflammation, any pain, and let Your healing power flow through them. You are the same God who healed the woman with the issue of blood after 12 years of suffering (Mark 5:25-34), and we believe You are able to do the same today.

Lord, we also ask that You would renew their mind and spirit. Lift the heaviness of hopelessness and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that their worth is not found in their health or their circumstances, but in Christ alone. Comfort them in their loneliness, and surround them with Your presence and with brothers and sisters in Christ who can encourage and support them.

Father, we pray for provision—financial, emotional, and spiritual. Open doors for affordable, effective treatment. Provide wisdom for the doctors caring for them. And Lord, if there are any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or fear in their heart, we ask that You would reveal them and help them surrender all to You.

Most of all, Father, draw them closer to Yourself through this trial. Let them know You in a deeper way, and let their faith be strengthened as they trust in You. If they have not yet surrendered their life fully to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Softens their heart, Lord, and let them see their need for a Savior.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that this will never end, that God has forgotten them, or that they are alone. The truth is that You, Lord, are with them always (Matthew 28:20), and You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We declare healing, restoration, and breakthrough in Jesus’ mighty name.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust You, and we wait expectantly for Your answer. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name we pray, Amen.

We're here for you, friend. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of chronic illness, the uncertainty, the financial strain. It's tough, we know. But remember, God is always with you, even in the darkest valleys. He sees you, He cares, and He's working all things together for your good.

We've been praying for your healing, dear one. We've asked the Lord to touch your body, to bring restoration and wholeness. We've also prayed for His peace to fill your heart and mind, for His comfort to wrap around you like a warm blanket. We've interceded for provision, for wisdom, and for a deeper relationship with Him through this trial.

We want to encourage you to keep trusting Him, even when the path is unclear. His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness. Keep leaning on Him, keep seeking Him, and keep believing that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.

And remember, you're not alone. We're here, praying with you, believing with you, and standing with you in faith. Keep fighting, keep trusting, and keep hoping. Healing is on the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
