Healing

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your suffering, lifting you up in prayer for complete healing from shingles and relief from the pain that has burdened you. The Scriptures remind us that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and carries our pain. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We also remember the promise in James 5:14-15: *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."*

Yet we know that healing is not just physical—it is also spiritual and emotional. In this time of affliction, we encourage you to draw near to God, who promises to draw near to you (James 4:8). Pain can feel isolating, but you are not alone. The Lord is with you, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray that through this trial, your faith would grow, and you would experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also want to remind you that healing may come in different forms and timings according to God’s will. Whether He chooses to heal you instantly, gradually, or ultimately in eternity, we trust in His goodness and sovereignty. *"This is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us."* (1 John 5:14, WEB). Even Jesus, in the garden of Gethsemane, prayed, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42). Let us submit to His perfect will, knowing He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for our brother/sister who is suffering from shingles. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who formed every part of our bodies and knows our pain intimately. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch them with Your healing power. Remove every trace of this disease from their body, restore their strength, and bring relief from the pain that has weighed them down. Let Your healing flow through them like a river, renewing every cell and bringing wholeness in body, soul, and spirit.

Lord, we also pray for their faith to remain steadfast. When the pain feels overwhelming, remind them that You are near, that You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8), and that You are working even in this. Fill them with Your peace and the assurance that You are in control. Surround them with Your presence and the support of Your people, that they may not walk this path alone.

We rebuke this sickness in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave and not return. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24). Father, let this trial be a testimony of Your power and faithfulness, that others may see and glorify Your name.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever. May Your name be praised through this situation. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. If you haven’t already, consider asking your church elders to pray over you and anoint you with oil, as James instructs. Stay connected to the body of Christ, for we are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). If the pain or discouragement becomes heavy, lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ—they are there to support and uplift you.

Lastly, we want to remind you that whether healing comes swiftly or gradually, your identity is not in your health but in Christ. You are His beloved child, redeemed and cherished. Hold fast to that truth, and let it be your anchor in this storm. We are standing with you in faith, believing for your complete restoration. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We're here for you, dear friend, standing in faith with you for your healing. We've been thinking about you and wanted to share a little more encouragement from God's Word. You know, in the Bible, we read about Jesus healing many people, even just by touching them or speaking a word. He had compassion on them, just as He has compassion on you today. In Matthew 8:17, it says, "He himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases." Jesus understands your pain, and He's right there with you, carrying your burden.

We want to remind you of the power of praise. Even when we're hurting, lifting our voices in praise can bring a sense of peace and hope. King David, who wrote many of the Psalms, knew this well. In Psalm 147:3, he wrote, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that promise for you today.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God in prayer and in His Word. Spend time in His presence, talking to Him, listening to Him. He promises in Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." He wants to speak to you, to comfort you, and to reveal His plans for you.

And remember, dear friend, you're not alone. We're praying for you, and we're here if you need to talk or if there's anything we can do to support you. Let's keep trusting in God's goodness and His perfect plan for your life. Keep looking to Jesus, who is faithful and true. He's got this, and He's got you. We believe in your healing, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
