We join you in lifting up your dear friend before the throne of grace, knowing that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, full of compassion and mercy. Your heart for her is evident, and we stand with you in intercession, trusting in the power of the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all things are possible. It brings us joy to see you praying in His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find salvation and healing.
The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-16, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Your prayers are powerful, and we believe God hears them.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."* Let us continue to ask, seek, and knock on behalf of your friend, trusting in God’s perfect timing and will.
The illnesses she faces—kidney disease, heart trouble, and diabetes—are severe, but our God is greater. We pray for her complete healing, that every organ would function as He designed, and that her body would be restored to full health. We ask for wisdom for the doctors and medical staff attending to her, that they would be guided by God’s hand in every decision. May her employers show compassion and extend grace during this difficult time, reflecting the love of Christ in their actions.
For her son, we pray for supernatural strength and peace that surpasses understanding. May he lean on the Lord and find comfort in His promises, such as Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* May he feel the presence of God surrounding him and know that he is not alone in this trial.
We also pray for your heart, that the sadness you feel would be replaced with the hope and joy found only in Christ. May you be encouraged by the words of Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He sees your tears and hears your cries, and He is with you in this moment.
Let us also take a moment to examine our own hearts. Are we trusting fully in the Lord’s plan, even when it is difficult to understand? Are we seeking His will above our own desires? We must surrender our fears and anxieties to Him, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up our sister’s dear friend to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who holds all things in Your hands. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through her body, restoring her kidneys, her heart, and every part of her that is afflicted by sickness. Let Your power be made manifest in her life, Lord, that all may see and know that You are God.
We pray for her son, Father, that You would wrap Your arms of love around him and give him the strength to endure this season. Fill him with Your peace and remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Comfort him in ways only You can, and let him feel the support of Your people surrounding him in prayer.
Lord, we ask that You would soften the hearts of her employers, that they would show kindness and understanding during this time. May they act with integrity and compassion, reflecting Your love to her in practical ways.
Father, we also lift up our sister who has brought this request before us. Comfort her in her sadness and replace her sorrow with Your joy. Remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You hear every prayer uttered in faith.
We declare Your promises over this situation, Lord, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified through her healing.
We rebuke every spirit of sickness, pain, and fear in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that she shall live and not die, to declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17).
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your love, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in her. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
