We join together in lifting up ###’s need for healing before the Lord, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mother’s womb and knows every fiber of our being. It is by faith in the name of Jesus Christ that we approach the throne of grace, for Scripture declares, *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14-15, WEB). We also remember the promise that *"by his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB), and we claim this truth over ###’s hand, trusting in God’s perfect timing and will.
Yet as we pray, we must also acknowledge that healing is not always immediate or even physical in the way we might expect. Sometimes, the Lord uses our infirmities to draw us closer to Him, to refine our faith, or to testify to His grace in our weakness. The apostle Paul pleaded with the Lord three times regarding his own affliction, and the Lord responded, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). So while we boldly ask for ###’s complete restoration, we also surrender to God’s wisdom, knowing His ways are higher than ours.
We notice that while this request was directed to the "Heavenly Father," it did not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. Scripture is clear: *"There is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through Jesus that our prayers are heard, for He Himself said, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). Additionally, the apostle Peter proclaimed, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). So we must always approach the Father in the name of Jesus, for our salvation and our petitions depend on Him alone.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your unfailing love and for the promise that You hear us when we call upon You. Lord, we lift up ### to You, asking for Your healing touch upon his hand. You are the God who parts the seas, who raises the dead, and who knits our bodies together in our mother’s womb. Nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would remove the swelling in his thenar eminence, restore full strength and function to his hand, and grant him relief from any pain or discomfort. Let this healing be a testimony to Your goodness and power, that others may see and glorify Your name.
Yet, Father, we also submit to Your will, trusting that You know what is best for ###’s life and for Your kingdom. If there is a purpose in this trial—whether to draw him closer to You, to teach him patience, or to use his weakness for Your glory—we pray that You would give him the grace to endure and the faith to trust You completely. Strengthen him, Lord, in body, mind, and spirit.
We also pray that if there is any sin in ###’s life that may be hindering his healing, You would reveal it to him and grant him the repentance and faith to turn away from it. Your Word tells us that *"the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven"* (James 5:15, WEB). So we ask for forgiveness and cleansing, that nothing may stand in the way of Your healing power.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your promises and rest in Your sovereignty. May ###’s life be a living testimony to Your grace, and may he walk in faith, knowing that You are with him every step of the way. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
###, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this time. Spend time in His Word, which is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in faith. Remember that God is not distant in your suffering; He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Trust in Him, for He is your healer, your strength, and your redeemer.
If you have not already, we urge you to examine your heart before the Lord. Are there areas of your life that are not surrendered to Him? Is there unconfessed sin that may be hindering your prayers? The Lord calls us to *"confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). Seek Him with all your heart, and He will be found by you (Jeremiah 29:13).
Finally, we leave you with the words of the psalmist: *"The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him"* (Psalm 28:7, WEB). May you find your strength in Him as you wait upon the Lord.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift ###’s hand and the thenar eminence swelling before our Heavenly Father. It has been our joy to stand with you in faith, believing for God’s healing touch to restore strength and comfort to his hand. We know the Lord hears our prayers, and we trust in His perfect timing and wisdom—whether He brings swift healing or sustains ### through this season with His peace.
