Healing

We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in need of divine healing. The Word of God assures us that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies and knows every intricate detail of our being. He is the same God who healed the sick, opened blind eyes, and raised the dead—nothing is too difficult for Him.

The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise today, believing that God is faithful to restore health and strength. We also remember Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."*

Yet, we must also acknowledge that healing is ultimately in God’s sovereign hands. His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Whether He chooses to heal instantly, gradually, or in eternity, we trust that His will is good and His love is unfailing. Our prayer is that this person would experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, even in the midst of physical struggle.

We also encourage this individual—or whoever is praying on their behalf—to examine their heart before the Lord. Are there areas of unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or doubt that may hinder their faith? The Bible tells us in Psalm 66:18, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."* Let us repent of anything that stands between us and God, trusting that He is merciful and ready to forgive.

Most importantly, we must remember that our ultimate hope is not in physical healing alone, but in the salvation and eternal life found only in Jesus Christ. If this request does not mention His name, we gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach His throne of grace. If this person does not yet know Christ as their Savior, we pray they would turn to Him today, for He alone holds the keys to life and death.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved one who is suffering in body. Lord, You know their pain, their weakness, and their need. You are the God who heals, and we ask You to restore their kidney function, bring harmony to their stomach, and regulate their blood pressure according to Your perfect will. Touch every cell, every organ, and every system in their body, and let Your healing power flow through them.

We rebuked every spirit of infirmity, every attack of the enemy against their health, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, let Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are near, even in this trial.

If there is any sin or doubt in their heart, we ask that You would reveal it and grant them the grace to repent and trust You fully. Help them to surrender their pain, their fears, and their future into Your hands, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Father, we also pray that if this person does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their heart to receive Your free gift of salvation. Let them understand that Jesus took their sins upon Himself on the cross, that He rose again in victory, and that through Him alone, they can have eternal life.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your love. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting up your loved one before the Lord these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, interceding for the restoration of their kidney function, the healing of their stomach, and the stabilization of their blood pressure. We know how deeply you care for them, and we’ve been praying not only for physical healing but also for God’s peace to surround your heart as you trust Him in this trial.

If the Lord has moved in response to our prayers—whether through improved test results, strength returning, or even a deepened sense of His presence—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep believing for their own miracle.

If the battle is still ongoing and the answers haven’t yet come, please don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request. We are here to continue standing with you, crying out to our Heavenly Father who hears every prayer and holds every tear in His bottle. His timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours, but we serve a God who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask or imagine.

May you feel His nearness in these days, and may your faith be strengthened as you wait on Him. We are believing with you for complete healing and restoration, trusting that His will is good, and His love for you and your loved one is unfailing.

We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
