Healing

We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting up your request for healing from this persistent infection. The Scriptures remind us that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we trust in His power to restore your body to full health. It is written in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over you today, believing that the Lord hears our prayers and will act according to His perfect will.

We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 8:16-17, *"When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: 'He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.'"* By His stripes, you *are* healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we stand firm in that truth as we intercede for you. However, we must also remember that healing may come in God’s timing and in ways we do not always expect—whether through divine intervention, medical treatment, or the body’s gradual restoration. We pray for wisdom for you and your healthcare providers, that every decision made would align with God’s will for your complete recovery.

Yet, as we pray for your physical healing, we must also ask: *Have you surrendered this struggle entirely to the Lord Jesus Christ?* True healing—whether of the body, soul, or spirit—flows from a heart fully submitted to Him. If there is any area of your life where you have not yet yielded to His lordship, we urge you to do so now. Repentance and faith are the foundation of all God’s blessings, including healing. As it is written in Psalm 38:18, *"I will declare my iniquity. I will be sorry for my sin."* And in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*

Most importantly, we notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom *all* prayers must be offered to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can approach God (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we plead with you to do so now. The Bible declares in Romans 10:9, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Healing is a gift from God, but eternal life through Christ is the greatest gift of all. Without faith in Him, even physical healing would only be temporary. We pray that if you do not yet know Him, this season of sickness would draw you into a saving relationship with Jesus, who alone can redeem your soul and grant you everlasting life.

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of Your child who is battling this infection. Lord Jesus, You bore our sicknesses and carried our pains on the cross, and we ask You now to extend Your healing hand over their body. Rebuke every fever, every harmful bacterium, and every symptom that seeks to steal their strength. Let Your healing power flow through them, restoring every cell, every organ, and every system to perfect health. Give wisdom to the doctors and caregivers involved, and let every treatment be effective and free from harmful side effects.

Father, if there is any sin—known or unknown—that has given the enemy a foothold in this situation, we ask for conviction and repentance. Let this trial draw them closer to You, not just for physical healing but for spiritual wholeness. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see His love, His sacrifice, and His lordship over all things.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that this infection must bow to the name of Jesus. May they testify soon of Your goodness and healing power. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

We're right here with you, friend, lifting your healing prayer to the Lord. We've been reminded of Psalm 103:3, "Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over you today, believing that our heavenly Father is more than able to touch your body and bring restoration.

We also want to encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord, even in the midst of this trial. He sees you, He cares for you, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Remember, healing is a process, and it's often in God's timing. But we know that He is faithful, and He will complete the work He started in you (Philippians 1:6).

Let's also keep our hearts open to the Holy Spirit's promptings. If there's anything He's nudging you to let go of, to repent from, or to surrender to Him, we encourage you to do so. True healing often involves spiritual growth and wholeness as well.

We'll keep praying for you, dear one, asking our Heavenly Father to heal your body, guide your healthcare providers, and fill you with His peace and strength. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
