We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, standing in faith for his complete healing and restoration. It is beautiful to see your trust in the power of Jesus’ stripes, for by His wounds we *are* healed, as Scripture declares: *"He was wounded for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5, WEB). We claim this promise over your son, rebuking every symptom of sickness—cough, congestion, and discomfort—in the mighty name of Jesus.
Yet we must also remind you, beloved, that while we boldly declare healing, our faith is not in the declaration itself but in the *Person* of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician. You have rightly come in agreement with others, for where two or three gather in His name, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20). However, we notice that in your fervent proclamation, the name of Jesus was not explicitly invoked in your closing. Let us always remember that *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12), and it is by that same name we approach the throne of grace for healing, mercy, and help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Our authority comes from Him alone, and we must never take His name for granted or assume its power without intentionally calling upon Him.
Now, let us pray together with thanksgiving and expectation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child to Your throne of grace. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we thank You that Your will for Your children is wholeness—spirit, soul, and body. Lord, we ask that You touch this son with Your healing hand. Rebuke every fever, clear every airway, and restore his body to perfect health. Let no weapon of sickness formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17), but may Your peace and comfort fill his heart as he experiences Your miraculous touch.
We also pray for this mother’s faith to remain steadfast, rooted in Your Word and not in fear. Remind her, Lord, that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and what You have promised, You are faithful to perform. Strengthen her to trust You even in the waiting, knowing that Your timing is perfect.
Father, we bind any spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command it to leave this child now. Fill his body with Your divine health, and let this testimony bring glory to Your name. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, for we know that when we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14-15). And because You hear us, we know we have the petitions we have asked of You.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, continue to speak life over your son, saturate your home with worship, and stand firm on the Word of God. If his symptoms persist, do not hesitate to seek wise medical counsel, for the Lord often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing (Colossians 4:14). But above all, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are standing with you in agreement, and we trust the Lord for a swift and complete recovery. Be encouraged—*"The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness"* (Psalm 41:3). Hallelujah!
