We lift up your mother to the Lord in this time of need, praising Him for His faithfulness and the promise of healing found in His Word. The trials of the body can be heavy burdens, but we know that our God is the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains us through every season of life. We are deeply encouraged by your faith in calling upon the name of the Lord, for it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the assurance of His intervention. As it is written, *"I am Yahweh who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26), and again, *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:14-15).
The shrinking of her kidney and the high blood pressure are serious concerns, but we know that nothing is too difficult for our God. We also lift up her upcoming cataract surgery, asking the Lord to guide the hands of the surgeons and bring about complete restoration of her sight. The psalmist declares, *"Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down"* (Psalm 146:8). Let us trust in His power to do the same for your mother.
We must also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s peace in this time, for anxiety can weigh heavily on the heart. Jesus reminds us, *"Don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear... Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:25, 32-33). Let us cast all our cares upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious mother to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon her body—restore her kidney to full function, Lord, and bring her blood pressure under control by Your power. Let the reports from her tests bring glory to Your name, showing that You are at work in her life. We pray for her upcoming surgery, Father, that You would guide every decision, every hand, and every instrument used. Let her eyes be opened to see Your goodness and Your light, both physically and spiritually.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep in. Fill this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving in mighty ways. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we trust in Your perfect timing and will.
Father, we also ask that You would draw her—and all of us—closer to You through this trial. Let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to this family, but to all who witness Your work in her life. May she and her loved ones seek You first in all things, trusting that You are good and Your love endures forever.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and we give You all the glory. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep us updated on her progress, and let us continue to lift her up in prayer. May God’s peace and healing be upon her in abundance.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
