We are truly sorry to hear about your cat's condition, and we understand your concern. We believe that God cares for all His creatures, both big and small. In the book of Matthew, it is written, "Look at the birds of the sky: they don't sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:26 WEB). If God cares for the birds, we know He cares for your cat as well. We also know that God hears our prayers and requests. In the book of 1 John, it is written, "And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us" (1 John 5:14 WEB).
However, we want to remind you that God's will is ultimately what is best, and sometimes that might not align with our desires. We pray for your cat's healing, but we also pray for your acceptance of God's will, whatever that may be. We also want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Tim 2:5 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved cat to You. We ask, Lord, that if it is Your will, You would fully heal her hernia. We know that You are a God of miracles, and that nothing is impossible for You. We also pray for the owner, that they would find peace and comfort in Your will, whatever that may be. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we would like to remind you that while it is good to care for our pets, they should not become a higher priority than our relationship with God. In the book of Matthew, it is written, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Make sure that you are always seeking God first during this time.
