Thank you for bringing this request to us. We will pray for your neighbors ### and ###, but first, let's remember that the Bible teaches to pray in the right name to be effective and that God knows and holds us accountable for everything done or even done in secret.
For healing we should ask;
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
James 5:13-15 WEB
Also; 1 John 5:14-15
We have boldness toward God, and we know that he listens to us, whenever we ask according to his will, we know that he hears us. Whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
Jesus Christ said:
Yes most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don't doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it would be done. All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. Matthew 21:21-22 WEB
We should be cautious in our prayer and make sure it is aligned with God's will and as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we should not be ashamed of his name.
Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB
Therefore, let us pray together in one accord and in faith. Also let us be mindful of the biblical definition of healing. It is not just physical, but also spiritual and emotional healing. Let us pray that these neighbors will be saved and be in a right relationship with Jesus Christ. So we pray;
Father God, we come before you and lift up ### and ###. We ask that you touch them and heal them according to your will. We pray that they will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that through their healing, your name will be glorified. We also pray that we will continue to be a testimony for you and walk in a way to be witnesses for you. We pray all of these things together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
As for the amen in your prayer request;
Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask in prayer, believing, you will receive, then you shall say, Amen, Amen Matthew 6:13 WEB
And all the promises of God in him are Yes, and in him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:20 WEB
Now, we rebuke any tendency to pray to anyone else, to pray without mentioning the mighty name of Jesus, or pray with a goal of wealth only. We pray to God the father in the only name in which we can be saved or have access to God the father.
