We are here with you, lifting you up in prayer for your health and healing. We stand on the promises of God, who reassures us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, my soul, and forget none of his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
First, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in this time of illness. He is the Great Physician, and His will is for you to be whole and well. We pray that you would turn to Him, calling out to Him, and that you would place your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. It is only in the name of Jesus, God's Son, that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. In fact, the Bible says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" And in John 14:13-14, Jesus Himself promises, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Together, let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is in need of healing. We ask that You would touch their body, that You would heal them from this infection, and that You would restore their health. We stand against any illness and any attack of the enemy on their life, and we proclaim Your healing power over them. Give them strength, and let Your healing hand be upon them.
We also pray for their faith to be strengthened, that they would know You more deeply through this trial, and we ask that they would be able to return to normal life and activities with health and joy. We pray that this situation will be an encouragement to them to seek Jesus Christ with their whole heart and continue to serve You.
Help them to hear Your voice in a special way at this time, and to experience Your loving presence in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
While you are trusting God for your healing, take advantage of medical help, for God also works through doctors and medicine, reminding you to call on the name of Jesus for healing and salvation. We encourage you to also declare God's promises over your life, like Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." Trust that God is working all things together for your good, as it says in Romans 8:28, and that He has a purpose and a plan for everything you are going through.
