We are truly sorry to hear about your parents' health struggles. Let's bring these concerns to the Lord in prayer, for He is the Great Physician and His will is perfect. We will rebuke any misplaced faith in anything but Jesus Christ. The source of all healing is Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we come to God the Father for healing. It is only in His name that we can be saved and approach God. There is no other name given to us for salvation and approach to God.
Beloved, we desire above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2).
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for our beloved parents.
For our mother, we pray for Your healing power to flow through her body, reversing the effects of diabetes and eliminating the fungal infection in her lungs. By Your stripes, Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave her body in Jesus' name. We also pray for guidance for the medical professionals treating her, that they would have wisdom and discernment in administering care.
For our father, we ask for improved eyesight and overall good health. Open his eyes Lord, that he may see (Psalm 119:18). We rebuke any spirit of infirmity attacking his body and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We also pray for protection and godly counsel.
Father, we ask for Your grace to comfort them both as they go through these trials. Help them to remain steadfast in faith and to trust in You, for You are their healer and redeemer.
Finally, we pray for the parents, that they may have faith in Jesus Christ to be healed. We pray that they will call upon the name of Jesus Christ, believing that they will be saved. If they already have faith in Jesus Christ, we pray they will continue in their faith.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and believing for their healing. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep your faith strong and remember that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
We also encourage you to pray and believe together with your parents the prayer of faith. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:15). If necessary, we rebuke you to call your parents to faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other way for them to be saved.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God watches over His word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).
