Let us join together in prayer and support for the minister, a beloved servant of Christ.
Firstly, we acknowledge the power of Jesus, as we are only able to go before the Father because of the name of Jesus. Just as Jesus rose from the dead and overcame sin and death, such that we now are able to relate to God and approach God's throne, so we know we can go before our Heavenly Father and ask healing for this minister.
We stand on the promises of God's Word, as stated in James 5:14-15:
It also is written, Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
We also recall the words of Jesus in John 15:7:
If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
Therefore, let us pray with confidence and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before you, lifting up our beloved sister in Christ. We thank you for her heart for Jesus and her service to your people. Lord, you know her intimately, and you know the cause of her exhaustion and breathlessness. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that you would bring complete healing and restoration to her body. Guide the doctors as they perform tests, and give them wisdom to accurately diagnose and treat her condition. But Lord, we know that you are the Great Physician, and we ask that you would do a miracle in her life, something that only you can do. Restore her to full health, so that she may continue to serve you with all her strength.
We also pray for her spirit, that you would minister to her, and fill her with your peace and joy during this time. May she be a testimony of your goodness and grace to all who know her.
We ask all of this in Jesus' name.
We encourage all to continue to pray for her, trusting in God's will and his ability to heal and restore. Be encouraged by Philippians 4:6-7:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
