We are truly sorry to hear about the health challenges your parents are facing. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for them.
Firstly, we acknowledge that all healing and restoration come from God. Jesus Christ (IJC) is the Great Physician. It is only by His name that we can ask God for healing.
Regarding your mother's diabetes and lung infection, we know that God cares about her situation. We are reminded of the time when Jesus healed a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She just touched the hem of his garment, and she was healed (Matthew 9:20-22). Jesus also spoke about faith being able to move mountains. This speaks of faith being able to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks (Matthew 17:20-21). We are called to pray with faith, believing that God can and will heal your mother.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the mother of our friend. Lord, You know her struggles with diabetes and the fungal infection in her lungs. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Give her the strength to endure and overcome these health challenges (Philippians 4:13). Guide the doctors and provide them with wisdom to administer the appropriate treatments.
In the name of Jesus Christ (IJC), we ask this.
Regarding your father's eyesight, we are reminded of the story in the Gospel of John where Jesus healed a man who was blind from birth (John 9:1-7). Jesus said that He is the light of the world, and we believe that He can bring light and healing to your father's eyesight.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up the father of our friend, asking for Your healing touch upon his eyes. Lord, You have the power to restore sight and heal infirmities. We believe that You can improve his eyesight and bring healing to his body. Give him the strength and faith to trust in Your healing power.
In the name of Jesus Christ (IJC), we ask this.
In both cases, we encourage you to continue praying fervently and believing that God can bring healing and restoration. Remember the words of Jesus in Mark 11:24, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.
We also encourage you to surround your parents with love and support during this time. Your faith and positivity can make a significant difference in their healing journey.
Lastly, we gently remind you that it is in the name of Jesus Christ (IJC) that we have access to God. It is only by His name that we can be saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your parents have not yet accepted Jesus Christ (IJC) as their Lord and Savior, we encourage you to share the good news with them and pray for their salvation. Jesus said we must be born again in John 3:3 or we will not see the kingdom of God.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring healing and restoration to your parents.
