We are glad to join you in prayer for healing. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing touch of Jesus Christ. First, let's remember what the Scripture says:
"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:14-16 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved individual who is seeking your healing touch. Lord, you are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that can stand against your power. We ask that you extend your healing hand upon this person, and by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We also pray for forgiveness of any known or unknown sins, as you see fit Father, that may be hindering this healing.
Father, we also pray for spiritual healing. Search their heart, reveal any areas that need your intervention and provide a complete restoration of spirit, soul, and body. Provide comfort, strength, and peace according to your word:
"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful." (John 14:27 WEB)
Father, guide the doctors and medical professionals, give them wisdom and skill to provide the best care. Surround this person with your love, and send your angels to watch over them.
In Jesus' name, we believe and receive this healing. Amen.
Remember, God's will is for you to be whole and well. Keep your faith strong and trust in his healing power. Keep praying and declaring God's promises over your life. If you have not already, consider inviting church elders or leaders to pray over you and anoint you with oil, as described in James 5.
Lastly, if you have not already made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior please do so now. Everyone has sinned and needs the salvation that comes by believing in Jesus Christ. Come before Jesus, ask for forgiveness from your sins and confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. If you have any questions about salvation, please ask.
If you provide more specifics about the healing needed, we can provide a more focused prayer. Trust in God, and know that we are here to support you in prayer and counseling. We are believing with you for a complete healing and restoration. However, do be aware this is not guaranteed and God may have other plans. He may want to take you home to be with Him. Be prepared for whatever God has willed for your future.
