Healing

We join you in lifting up this urgent need for healing and restoration. We stand in agreement with you for complete healing and recovery from all addictions, and for new life off the streets.

Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His authority that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

The Bible tells us that God remembers our affliction and hears our cry. He will heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. We find comfort and encouragement in Psalm 107:20 WEB: "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their graves," and in Isaiah 53:5 WEB: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in this precious life. Lord, You see the struggle and the pain, and You know the desperate need for healing and freedom from addiction. We cry out to You, asking for Your mercy and grace to pour out, breaking every chain and setting this captive free.

Father, we pray for complete healing and recovery from all addictions. We ask that You would strengthen and uphold, providing a way off the streets and into a stable, safe environment. We pray for a supernatural work of Your Holy Spirit, transforming this life and making all things new.

In the name of Jesus, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and command it to flee. We speak life, healing, and restoration over this situation, believing that You are a God of miracles and that nothing is impossible for You.

Lord, we ask that You would surround this person with Your love and protection, guiding them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. May they come to know Him as their Lord and Savior, and find eternal life in Him.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in You, and we believe that You are working all things together for good.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, for God is at work in this situation. Continue to pray and trust in Him, knowing that He is faithful to His promises. Remember the words of James 5:15 WEB: "The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Keep your faith strong, and believe that God is working out His perfect plan.

try believing in Jesus & that He can help you repent for any sins you can think of. Pray more, read the Bible, or go to Mass and praise Him. Maybe there is a Bible study at a church and keep trying to pray to Him. Someone at shelters or food banks might know a priest. You can read the Bible online for free as well.

Isaiah 40:8
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.

1 Peter 1:25
But the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you.

Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Addictions: Try the Serenity Prayer (it takes a bit, keep at it):

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

Also, try the Apostles' Creed prayer:

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day He rose again.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen

Also, try to ask Him to take away the urge for addiction & whatever else you want to pray to Him.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
