We are truly sorry to hear about your mom's mental illness and the challenging situation you're facing. First, we want to remind you that God is a loving and compassionate Father who cares deeply for your mom and your family. We are called to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sister and her mother. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, and we trust in Your goodness and mercy. Please, Father, touch our sister's mom and heal her from her mental illness. We know that nothing is impossible for You, and with Jesus Christ, healing and restoration are always a possibility (Mark 10:27, Matthew 19:26 WEB).
We also ask, Lord, that You provide a safe and permanent home for her, where she can receive the help and care she needs. Guide the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who will be caring for her, and give them wisdom and compassion as they tend to her needs (Exodus 31:3-5).
Father, we also pray for our sister, ask that You give her the strength and wisdom she needs to make the right decisions for her family. Help her to trust in You and not be afraid, for You are always with her and will never forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Finally, Lord, we pray for complete healing and restoration for this family. In Jesus' mighty name, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or confusion that may be trying to take hold. We ask that You fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
We pray this request directly to God the Father in Jesus Christ name! Asking for this request specifically in Jesus' name is the only way we have access to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Let us always remember the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ for eternal salvation and a personal walk each day.
Please remember that God is faithful and will work all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Stay strong in your faith, and trust in Him.
If it becomes necessary for you to take your mom in, pray about it and know that God will give you the strength and wisdom to keep your family safe. Always remember that God can provide and move in this situation to allow your mom to be cared for properly. Put your trust in Him and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
