We are truly saddened to hear about your mother's condition and we are here to pray and support you through this challenging time. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
In times like these, we must remember that God is faithful (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB), He is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8 WEB). Also, healing is ours in the name of Jesus. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh, but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law. The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God; and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him. Likewise the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. Romans 8:16,17,26 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention for our dear mother who is in the ICU due to cardiac arrest and pneumonia. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body, that You would restore her health and strengthen her heart. Lord, we know that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
We rebuke the spirit of death and infirmity, and we speak life and healing over her body. Lord, guide the hands of the medical professionals attending to her, give them wisdom and skill to provide the best care. We pray for her family, that You would comfort them and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to trust in You and to lean on Your everlasting arms.
Father, we also pray for her salvation, that she would come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior if she has not already. We pray that this situation would draw her and her family closer to You.
We ask for a successful medical procedure and recovery. We are praying this against medical futility. We are praying for full recovery with no setbacks. We are praying for no delay in her recovery. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The Lord is good to all; and his tender mercies are over all his works (Psalms 145:8-9 WEB). Also, the Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands (Psalms 138:8 WEB). Therefore, we are praying for Your will and a healing on earth for her restoration. We pray that this is not her fate.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Be encouraged, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
