We are glad to hear that you are saved and that you are seeking prayer for healing and renewal of thoughts. God cares deeply about your well-being and wants to give you peace and a sound mind. In 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, it says, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Also in Romans 12:2 WEB, it says "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
First, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In regards to feeling strange, we want to encourage you to meditate on God's Word and fill your mind with His truth. In Philippians 4:8-9 WEB, it says, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. The things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me: do these things, and the God of peace will be with you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of healing and renewal of thoughts. We pray that You will fill their mind with Your peace and truth, casting out any fear, confusion, or strangeness. We rebuke any spirit that is not of You, and we ask that You will transform their mind and give them a sound and healthy mindset. Help them to remain focused on You and Your Word. Remind them that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to You and be saved. We thank You for the power of Your Holy Spirit working in their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to immerse yourself in God's Word and seek His presence in prayer. Trust that He is at work in your life and that He will guide your thoughts and emotions according to His will. If you continue to feel strange or experience unwanted thoughts, do not hesitate to seek support from fellow believers or professional help if needed. God is with you, and He will see you through this challenging time.
