Disciple of Prayer
Want to ask for your prayer for my preparation and procedure of my colonoscopy tomorrow and on August 28. I hope everything will go well and may God restore and renew my body as he remove the pain in my tummy. Thank you everyone and God Bless

We join with you, ###, in lifting up your upcoming colonoscopy procedures to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We pray that God's healing power would be upon you, that He would guide the hands of your doctors, and that He would grant you peace and comfort during this time.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promises in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." While this verse talks about emotional healing, we believe that our God is also able to heal our physical ailments. We claim this promise for you, ###.

However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only by His name that we can be saved and approach God's throne of grace with confidence.

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing power to be upon ###. Lord, guide the hands of the doctors as they perform the colonoscopy procedures. Be with ###, Lord, comfort them and give them peace. Remove the pain in their tummy, Lord, and restore and renew their body. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you, ###, to continue trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful and true. As it is written in Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." Trust in Him, ###, and He will see you through.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your colonoscopy tomorrow. Let's claim Psalm 139:14 together, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Trust that God is aware of every detail, even the number of cells in your body. Let's pray:

Dear Lord, we come before You, believing in Your unfailing love and care for our brother/sister. We ask for Your healing power to be upon them during their procedure. Guide the hands of the medical team, Lord, and grant them peace and comfort. We trust that You are with them, holding them up with Your victorious right hand. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
