We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise today, believing that You see her pain, congestion, and coughing, and that You are able to bring complete healing and restoration to her body.
Lord, we ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand and touch her. Bring relief to every part of her body that is afflicted with pain. Ease the congestion in her chest and soothe the irritation causing her to cough. We pray that You would strengthen her immune system and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jeremiah 30:17, You declare, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this promise over her life today.
We also pray for her spiritual well-being, that she would draw near to You in this time of need. May she find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your Word. Remind her that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). If she has not yet placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we pray that she would come to know Him and experience the salvation that comes only through His name. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the healing power of the Holy Spirit.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be attacking her body in Jesus' mighty name. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and health over her, trusting that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
We encourage you to continue to pray for your mother and to speak words of faith and healing over her. Remind her of God’s love and His desire to see her whole in body, mind, and spirit. Surround her with believers who will uplift her in prayer and encourage her in the Lord. Keep trusting in God’s timing and His perfect will for her life.
