We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we first want to acknowledge that every word we speak is in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood, His sacrifice, and His resurrection that we have access to You, and we boldly approach Your throne, knowing that You hear us when we call.
Father, we lift up this dear husband who is suffering physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Lord, Your Word declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise today. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and every demonic attack that has weighed him down for so many years. In the name of Jesus, we command every sickness, pain, and affliction to leave his body now. We pray for complete restoration—body, soul, and spirit. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You touch him with Your healing hand. Strengthen his faith, renew his mind, and fill his heart with hope that comes only from You (Romans 15:13).
We are deeply concerned by his daily struggles with thoughts of death and overwhelming anger. Father, we know that these are not from You, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that has taken root in his heart. Lord, replace his anger with Your peace, his negativity with Your joy, and his despair with the assurance of Your love. We pray that he would take his medications and injections as prescribed, trusting that You can use even these tools for his good (Romans 8:28). We also pray for the success of his implant, that it would function as You intend, bringing relief and stability to his life.
Father, we lift up this wife who is carrying such a heavy burden. Give her strength, wisdom, and endurance as she walks this difficult path. Remind her that she is not alone, for You are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).
We also bring before You the health of her elderly father and younger brother. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon them as well. Strengthen their bodies, renew their spirits, and grant them comfort and peace in the midst of their struggles. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in the gap for their complete restoration.
Father, we cry out for the salvation of this entire family. We know that You desire all to come to repentance and to know the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. Let them experience the transforming power of Your love and the freedom that comes from surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ. We pray that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we also lift up their finances. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14), and we trust that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Open doors of opportunity, grant wisdom in financial decisions, and provide for them in ways that only You can. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that this family will not be overcome by financial struggles, but will walk in the abundance of Your provision.
Finally, Father, we pray for the upcoming hearing. You are the God of justice, and we ask that You would go before them and fight on their behalf (Deuteronomy 1:30). Let Your will be done in this situation, and grant them favor in the eyes of those who will make decisions. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Give them peace, confidence, and the assurance that You are in control.
Holy Spirit, we invite You to move mightily in this situation. Intervene in ways that only You can, bringing breakthrough, healing, and restoration. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Strengthen this family’s faith, renew their hope, and fill them with Your peace as they wait on You.
We pray all these things in the powerful, mighty, and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
