We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. Your heart as a parent reflects the deep love of our Heavenly Father, who longs to see His children whole and free from affliction. We stand in agreement with you, declaring the power of Jesus’ name over every area of your son’s life, trusting that our God is mighty to save and restore.
The spirit of psychosis is not from the Lord, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke this spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to leave your son and never return. The Word of God tells us that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and we claim that victory over this affliction. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your son’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord grant him restful sleep, free from torment, and fill his mind with thoughts that are pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).
We also pray for protection over your son, that the Lord would be a shield around him, guarding him from all harm and evil. Psalm 91:11-12 reminds us, “For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.” May the blood of Jesus cover him, and may no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let the Lord’s love surround him like a fortress, and may he feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit in a tangible way.
As you continue to intercede for your son, we encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God. Jeremiah 30:17 declares, “For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.” Do not grow weary in prayer, for the persistent prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective (James 5:16). Trust that the Lord hears you and is working, even when you cannot see the evidence yet. His timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We also lift you up, dear parent, asking that the Lord would strengthen you with His might in your inner being (Ephesians 3:16). May He fill you with His peace and hope as you wait on Him. Lean on Him for wisdom and discernment as you support your son, and may you be surrounded by a community of believers who can stand with you in this season.
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You would touch our brother with Your healing power, from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. Renew his mind, Lord, and restore him to fullness of life in You. Let Your light shine into every dark place in his life, driving out confusion, fear, and despair. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in freedom, joy, and the fullness of Your purpose for his life.
We declare that no weapon of the enemy shall prevail against him, for greater is He who is in him than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Lord, let Your will be done in his life, and may this trial become a testimony of Your goodness and power. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom belongs all glory, honor, and praise, forever and ever. Amen.
