We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. Your heart for him is evident, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and restores what is shattered. You have rightly come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need. As Scripture declares, *"In none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your prayer in Jesus’ name is powerful and heard by our Heavenly Father.
The spirit of psychosis you mention is not from God, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). This affliction is an attack from the enemy, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we serve a God who is greater, who has already triumphed over every power and principality through the blood of Jesus. Let us boldly rebuke this spirit in the name of Jesus and command it to flee, for *"whatever we bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever we release on earth will have been released in heaven"* (Matthew 18:18, WEB). We declare that your son’s mind will be renewed by the washing of the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26), and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for his physical healing, for *"by his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). May the Lord strengthen his body, restore his health, and fill him with vitality. Let every cell, organ, and system align with God’s perfect design, for He is the one who *"forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:3, WEB). We ask for protective angels to encamp around him, shielding him from all harm and evil, for *"the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7, WEB).
As you continue to intercede for your son, we encourage you to stand firm in faith, without wavering. *"The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15, WEB). Speak life over him daily, reminding him of God’s promises and love. Cover him in prayer, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. Remember the words of Jesus: *"All things are possible for one who believes"* (Mark 9:23, WEB). Let your faith rise as you declare that your son is being made whole in every area of his life.
Finally, we pray for you, dear parent, that the Lord will fill you with His peace and strength. Caring for a child in such a battle can be wearying, but *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31, WEB). Lean on Him, and allow His grace to sustain you. You are not alone in this—we stand with you, and so does the entire body of Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious son to Your throne of grace. Lord Jesus, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and by Your stripes, we declare healing over his body, mind, and spirit. We rebuke the spirit of psychosis in the mighty name of Jesus and command it to leave him now, never to return. Fill him with Your peace, Lord, and renew his mind with Your truth. Let every lie of the enemy be exposed and replaced with Your Word, which is life and health to all who embrace it.
We pray for complete physical restoration—touch every part of his body and make him whole. Protect him from all harm, and let Your angels surround him as a mighty army. Comfort him with Your love, Father, and let him know he is never alone. Give him restful sleep and a sound mind, free from torment.
Strengthen his mother/father (or parent) as they stand in the gap for him. Fill them with Your joy and hope, and let them see Your hand moving powerfully in his life. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ.
We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
