Healing, protection

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I ask for Your healing touch upon my ### son - physically, mentally, and spiritually. Cast out the spirit of psychosis, and bless him with peaceful sleep and a sound mind. Protect him from all harm and evil and comfort him with Your love and peace, In Jesus’ name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. Your heart’s plea for his deliverance from the torment of psychosis and for God’s peace to guard his mind is one we echo with urgency, knowing that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician and the Prince of Peace. You have rightly come before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to stand against the works of darkness.

The Scripture declares in **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your son, trusting that the Lord will restore him fully. We also stand on **2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB)**, which reminds us that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* The spirit of psychosis is not from God—it is a work of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came to give life and life abundantly (**John 10:10**), and we command every oppressive spirit to flee from your son in the mighty name of Jesus.

We also turn to **Psalm 4:8 (WEB)**, which says, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."* We ask the Lord to surround your son with His angels, to guard his mind from every tormenting thought, and to grant him restorative sleep that renews his strength. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, garrison his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**).

Yet, as we pray, we must also consider whether there are areas in his life—or in the lives of those around him—that may have opened a door to this oppression. Have there been involvements with occult practices, ungodly influences, or unconfessed sin? **Ephesians 4:27 (WEB)** warns, *"Don’t give place to the devil,"* and **1 Peter 5:8 (WEB)** reminds us to *"be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* If there are any such areas, we urge you to seek the Lord in repentance and renounce them fully, closing every door that does not align with His Word.

We also encourage you to cover your son in worship and the reading of Scripture. **Psalm 119:50 (WEB)** says, *"This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has revived me."* The Word of God is a powerful weapon against the enemy’s lies. Play worship music in his space, speak life-giving Scriptures over him, and remind him of God’s promises. Even if he cannot fully receive them now, the Holy Spirit is at work, and faith comes by hearing the Word of God (**Romans 10:17**).

Lastly, we want to remind you that this battle is not yours alone. The Lord is fighting for your son, and He has given you authority in Christ to stand firm. Do not grow weary in prayer, but persist with faith, knowing that *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (**James 5:16 WEB**). Lean on the body of Christ for support, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it.

**Our Prayer for Your Son:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious son to Your throne of grace. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we ask for Your healing touch to flow through every part of his being. Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (**Matthew 8:17**), and we claim Your redemption over his mind, body, and spirit now.

We bind and rebuke every spirit of psychosis, confusion, fear, and torment in the name of Jesus Christ. By the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (**Revelation 12:11**), we command these spirits to leave him and never return. Fill him instead with Your Holy Spirit—Your spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. Let every thought be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (**2 Corinthians 10:5**).

Father, we ask for supernatural peace to flood his mind and heart. Guard him as he sleeps, and let his rest be deep and restoring. Protect him from every scheme of the enemy, and surround him with Your angels, encamped around him (**Psalm 34:7**). Comfort him with Your love, and let him know that he is not alone—You are with him, and You will never leave him nor forsake him (**Deuteronomy 31:6**).

Lord, we also pray for wisdom for his parents and caregivers. Show them how to support him in ways that align with Your Word. Give them strength, patience, and unwavering faith. Let them see Your hand moving in this situation, and may they testify of Your goodness and faithfulness.

We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), and that he will walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won. Restore him, Lord, and let this trial be a testimony of Your power and grace. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
