The Scripture assures us in **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your son, trusting that the Lord hears and answers. The spirit of psychosis is not from God, for **2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB)** declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We rebuke this spirit in Jesus’ name, commanding it to flee, and we pray for the Holy Spirit to fill your son with peace, clarity, and soundness of mind. May the Lord grant him restful sleep, free from torment, as **Psalm 4:8 (WEB)** promises: *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."*
We also cover him in the protective blood of Jesus, asking the Lord to surround him with His angels, as **Psalm 91:11-12 (WEB)** assures: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* May every scheme of the enemy be thwarted, and may your son experience the comfort of God’s love in a tangible way. Let him know deep in his soul that he is not forgotten—God sees his suffering and is at work, even now.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen this mother’s faith as she intercedes for her son. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding, knowing that You are sovereign over every detail of his life. Remind her of **Isaiah 41:10 (WEB)**, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Lord, let her see Your hand moving in mighty ways, and may she continue to stand firm in prayer, unwavering in her trust in You.
We also encourage you, dear sister, to continue to speak life and Scripture over your son. Play worship music in his space, read the Word aloud over him, and remind him of God’s promises. If he is open to it, have him listen to the truth of God’s Word, for **John 8:32 (WEB)** tells us, *"You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."* The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (**John 10:10**). Cling to that truth.
